Video Recording/Analysis Privacy Notice
- Cricket Clubs will score games as they progress either in a score book or bespoke software package. Hadleigh CC scores using the system PCS Pro and uploads the result onto Play -cricket. This requires the name of each player (First name and last name) to be recorded. Hadleigh CC may also utilise video live streaming and Highlights which in addition to showing the score card data will show the image of the player(s) on the screen.
- The source(s) of the personal data – the names of the players will be provided by the respective teams Captains on the team sheet and club scorer on the day of the game.
- The streams / photographs / recordings will be used for player development /coaching / allowing fans of the clubs playing who are not able to physically attend to watch the game via the livestream, Club / Sponsor marketing. It is possible that an incident may be captured which results in league disciplinary procedures.
- Hadleigh Cricket club may be sharing the streams / photographs / recordings with the club coaches / club performance analyst to support the development of players.
- Only named people who are registered with Play Cricket for as members of Hadleigh Cricket Club AND registered with for Live Streaming and Video Analysis with NV Play will have access to the software and be able to commence the streaming.
- The club has a policy covering photographs /video capture and streaming, the legal basis for us obtaining / using / sharing the streams / photographs / recordings is via consent of the individuals. If a player or junior players parents/guardian do not give consent the entire game will not be videoed/streamed.
- Images will be held by the club for no longer than 12 months from the date they were captured and will be kept on a laptop securely stored at Hadleigh Cricket Club.
- Safeguarding children is of vital important at Hadleigh Cricket Club and takes their responsibilities very seriously. With regards to live streaming, the zoom level of the camera will be set so to prevent facial identification of the batters and bowlers. These positions are captured on the score bar at the bottom of the screen with the players names shown at the same time as their image.
- All Hadleigh Cricket Club Junior Players/Parents/Carers complete the Photography, Live Stream and Audio-visual Recording Of Young Players Consent Form. Those Parents/Carers of the U18 players in question have also signed a hard copy version of the consent. This form which once completed, is securely stored by the club.
- Please be aware that Hadleigh CC all senior home games will be live-streamed and will be displayed publicly on websites and social media. Please contact Jo English - Club Safeguarding Officer, if you have any questions or concerns. If your child is playing and you have indicated you DO NOT wish him/her to be captured on our live-stream, please raise this with the Hadleigh captain before the game commences.
