Hadleigh 1st XI produced a strong, well‑rounded performance this weekend, demonstrating the quality, depth and club spirit that our sponsors help make possible.

Batting first, Hadleigh built an excellent platform thanks to a composed and powerful innings from Ben Wallis, who finished 76 from 62 balls*, striking nine fours and three sixes. He was supported by valuable contributions throughout the order — Josh Davey (30), Thomas Piddington (28), Callum Morrin (28) and Kunal Vishwa (23) all added important runs, helping Hadleigh post a competitive total with momentum right to the end.

With the ball, Hadleigh showed discipline and control. Ainsley Ndlovu delivered a superb spell, conceding just 27 runs from 10 overs and applying constant pressure. Kyle Tanner and Kunal Vishwa each claimed two wickets, while Lovejeet Singh bowled an exceptionally tight seven‑over spell for only nine runs. The fielding unit backed the bowlers with sharp catching and energy across the innings.
